    Apartment and comercial building, Differdange, Luxembourg

    The building is situated in the Arboria residential area – Plateau du Funiculaire, in the city of Differdange, Luxembourg. The design complies with all the guidelines of the local plan of spatial development. The ground floor consists of commercial premises with a total area of 670 m2, and the remaining three floors contain 28 apartments from 48 to 123 m2. Each apartment has a balcony finished in wood, accessible through large sliding glass doors. The apartments are equipped with a mechanical balanced ventilation system as well as a home automation system. Two underground levels, linked with an adjacent building, hold 86 parking spaces for residents and owners of commercial premises. In theunderground, apart from the parking garage are spaces for bicycle storage, trash dumps, laundry rooms, storage facilities, utility and technical rooms. The ground floor façades, where the commercial space is located, are extensively glazed and finished with graphite fibre concrete slabs, while the apartment floors elevations are made of white-painted plaster with a clear pattern shaped of windows and balconies. The roof is covered with extensive flora. Energy efficiency class: B
